Apricity (noun) : The feeling of the warmth of the sun on a cold winter day
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe enough to be yourself. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), and Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist (CCAT) who takes a collaborative, relational, and experiential approach to help you navigate difficult emotions, strengthen your relationships (with yourself and others) and build the life you want to live. I work with young adults, adults, and elders through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, and women's issues, and I'm affirming of LGBTQIA+ clients. My approach is grounded in humanistic and strengths-based theory, and I draw on talk therapy, play, art, somatic experiencing, EMDR, and other evidence-based modalities tailored to you. I intentionally bring playfulness into our work as a pathway to growth and healing. Both in-person and telehealth sessions are available, and I'm currently accepting new clients on a self-pay basis, with insurance options coming soon. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to ensure we're a good fit.
